Biking and Boating


I have been busy kayaking, working on starting my own business, trying to keep up with home maintenance there was not much time left over for biking. I managed to get on my bike before June. My intention was to do more biking in the early spring. Better late than never. What I found was the first ride was not pretty. It did not help that it was 85 degrees and sunny, not being used to the warm weather yet. Anyway with each ride I increased my mileage, by the third ride I did twice the mileage of the first ride. Kayaking is a very good upper body workout, biking is great for legs and getting your heart rate up. I call it my killer combo for fun exercise. If you want to get into shape, get out off the couch and start doing something fun and active.
